ACCOMMODATING CHILDREN AT SAMBIYA RIVER LODGE
Family cottages are available, which consist of two rooms with an interconnecting door. The first room contains a double bed and the second room, two twin beds. We recommend families with two to four children to take this option. If family cottages are booked, full rates are applicable.
If there is a request for additional beds to be added in the rooms, ONLY ONE camp bed and/or baby cot is allowed per room since the rooms are not large enough to accommodate a third full size twin bed. Mosquito nets are provided over double and single beds, as well as baby cots. Please note that it is only possible to fit one mosquito net over one camp bed per room.
Booking terms and conditions
A 50% deposit is required 10 weeks before intended arrival with the balance to be settled 30 days prior to checkin. The Sambiya River Lodge Booking Office will receipt your money, thereby confirming your safari. If a reservation is made within 30 days of departure, the entire amount must be made at the time of confirmation.
CANCELLATIONS: Full refund will be provided if cancellation occurs in writing 21 days prior to checkin. Refund on all pre-paid money will be based on the following cancellation fees being levied: 50% charge on cancellation within 14-21days, 75% charge within 2 - 14 days, and 100% charge within 48 hours. We reserve the right to deduct all expenses incurred from money paid.
Credit cards: The Lodge is not able to accept Credit cards, however the Kampala office is able to accept payments with VISA cards. A 6% levy will be charged against Credit Card payments which are our bank charges.
Reservations will be acknowledged at the time of booking, but only confirmed upon receipt of prepayment or deposit. This can be done on a cash or Visa credit card basis in person at the office in Kampala or through a bank or wire transfer (for out of country or up country clients). Non-confirmed bookings will be cancelled without prior notice as other confirmed reservations are received by the Sambiya River Lodge booking office in Kampala. All clients must present an accommodation voucher issued by the Central Reservations office or proof of money transferred via a banking institution, at the time of check in at the Lodge as proof of a confirmed booking.
